How will you determine the problem with your Mac computer?

One of the good reasons why most people use a Mac it’s because of a coin that has a well-worn phrase. Which actually works. You don’t have to spend hours talking about fixing problems. It is because of bloatware, Driver updates, and getting to avoid the virus. Although things get done wrong, especially its features. It is the best way to treat what is the main cause of the problem and you need to share the fixes for the regular problems. 

How to determine what is wrong with your computer

Sometimes it is not clear what the issue is about your Mac having problems. You don’t need to go through some steps to know what the problem is. These steps will let you know if your computer is turning on. And they will search on how to fix the computer.

Note errors

If they are showing an error message. Then you can take a picture or use the screenshot button of your computer and save it. You can search on Google to know how to fix the error message. 

Check the software 

You can check your software that it is up to date. You can also double-check if there are running versions of macOS. You might identify that there is a known issue that has been fixed recently. 

Check the peripherals

Once you have found the device that is causing the issue. You can unplug everything that is connected to your computer. To check whether that solves the problem. 

Check the disk space

Checking how much disk space is available on your computer. If you don’t know how to do it. You can follow these steps. Go to your About This Mac then go to Storage. You need to have at least 10% total disk space free. And if you need to free more space then you need an apple macbook repair it.

Check the activity display

It will show you if there is something keeping your memory or CPU. You need to Go to Applications then Utilities then Activity Display. There is also a shortcut by clicking the cmd+space and type the Activity Display. Click the memory to know if it is keeping your memory. Click the CPU to check what is keeping the CPU. 

Run the Disk Utility 

By running the disk utility you need to go to Applications then Utilities then Disk Utility. You can use the shortcut click the cmd+space and type Disk Utility. It is to confirm if there is a problem with your disk. The Disk Utility is a makeover in Mac OS El Capitan and other processes have been changed. 

Begin in safe mode 

You can determine the problems with your Mac once you begin it in a Safe Mode. once you start it your Mac will not process the startup items and other software. It also does a check to your startup disk so it can alert you to the problems. 

After you are done shutting down your Mac. You need to wait for 10 seconds then click the power button. Once your Mac starts you can hear the startup chime press and hold the Shift key. After you see the Apple logo you can now stop clicking the Shift button.
